ToonLint ("we", "us", "our") operates the website toonlint.dev, a free developer tool for validating and converting TOON (Token-Oriented Object Notation) format data.
2. Data You Enter Into the Tool
When you paste JSON or TOON data into ToonLint's editor fields, that data:
- Is processed entirely within your browser using JavaScript
- Is never transmitted to any server or third party
- Is never stored in any database, log file, or cloud storage
- Is never shared with any third party, including advertisers
- Disappears completely when you close or refresh the browser tab
This means you can safely use ToonLint with sensitive API responses, production data, or confidential JSON payloads.
3. Information We Collect Automatically
Like all websites, our web server and third-party services may collect standard technical information when you visit toonlint.dev:
- Server logs: IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. These are standard web server logs retained for security and debugging purposes only.
- Analytics: We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, session duration, country). This data is anonymized and does not include your tool inputs.
- Advertising cookies: We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing history. See Section 5 for opt-out options.

ToonLint uses the following types of cookies:

Anthropic does not display ads in its products. ToonLint is an independent developer tool, not an Anthropic product.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use ToonLint. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as page views, session duration, and geographic region. It does not collect the content of your tool inputs. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy (Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which operate under their own privacy policies).
8. Children's Privacy
ToonLint is a developer tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.
